Investigations

University Audit investigates allegations of fraud in the university, as well as significant non-compliance with laws and regulations.  The office serves as the official contact for persons reporting suspected fraudulent or other dishonest acts. The university fraud policy may be viewed at the following link:
http://policies.ucf.edu/documents/2-800FraudPreventionandDetectionFINAL.pdf

Depending on the nature of the allegations, we may coordinate investigative efforts with other areas such as Human Resources and General Counsel.   If we determine there is sufficient evidence of probable criminal activity, we will refer the case to the University Police.

University Audit has the authority to investigate all areas of the university and has unrestricted access to university records, data, personnel, and physical property relevant to performing investigations.

For questions or to report suspected fraud or dishonest activity, contact Tina Maier, Associate Director, at 407-823-2889 or send an email message to tmaier@mail.ucf.edu. Alternately you may send an email to report-fraud@mail.ucf.edu or fax to 407-823-6330.
