University Audit investigates allegations
of fraud in the university, as well as significant non-compliance
with laws and regulations. The office serves as the official
contact for persons reporting suspected fraudulent or other dishonest
acts. The university
fraud policy may be viewed at the following link: Depending on the nature of the allegations, we may coordinate investigative efforts with other areas such as Human Resources and General Counsel. If we determine there is sufficient evidence of probable criminal activity, we will refer the case to the University Police. University Audit has the authority to investigate all areas of the university and has unrestricted access to university records, data, personnel, and physical property relevant to performing investigations.
